Probably way more than you care to know about me...
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, totally worn out and proclaiming, "Wow, what a ride!"

About me... it's all about me!
In the Beginning:
I was born in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. I have very few memories of Kingston: the old house on Division St, then the new house Dad and his brothers built next door... a local bakery with AWESOME Butter Tarts (a Canadian thing that I still miss!), getting my hands slapped with a ruler by nuns in the first grade...and yes, I probably deserved it! The gigantic 100 foot cliff in the back yard that turned out to be about 5 feet tall when I saw it as an adult. The quarry that a friend and I sailed across on a floating wooden door we found...and how mad I was at my sister for reporting us to my mother! I just got off from being grounded a few weeks ago. Funny, the things that stay with you...
When I was seven I moved to Rochester, NY. Well, actually, my parents did, my siblings and I decided to go with them. We lived on Brooks Ave, in the 19th Ward, which I didn't realize at the time, but was a great neighborhood. Among other things, I worked for my Dad doing construction, and learned skills that are useful to this day. I went to St. Monica's School, where my mother was a teacher. I wasn't in her class, but many of my friends had her as a teacher and remind me of it to this day. Later I went to Edison Tech, where I proved to be a smart, and smart-assed student. To any of my teachers who may happen to read this, I apologize for everything.
After high school I went in the Air Force, where I spent most of my time at Edwards Air Force Base, in the Mohave Desert. WAY too hot for a Canadian lad, but lots of very cool airplanes! Went back home to Rochester when I got out, where I bounced from job to job for years while trying to succeed as a Rock Star. Didn't happen, but I had a lot of fun, made some lifelong friends, and have lots of great stories to tell! Check my Music Page for more info....
The Seattle Years:
While trying to be a Rock Star, I got married, which didn't last; and ended up moving to Seattle, which did. Eventually I got married again...as they say, the triumph of Hope over Experience. So far it's only lasted 22 years...
And I worked more meaningless jobs, until I finally got smart, and lucky, and entered the Security Industry through the back door. Finally, I have a career instead of just a job, and I'm much happier. For details, check out my Career Page. I also fronted a variety of bands, and started occasionally performing as a Solo Artist.
Where I'm going:
My careers, both Music and Security, are still unfolding. They are both important to me, and I hope to see them progress further. In the meantime, I will continue to enjoy life with my wife, Denise, see as much of the world as we can, make music, scuba dive where ever and when ever I can, and just generally "Keep on keepin' on!"
Stay tuned....
